King Street Flats, Exeter

This is a four storey block of student flats constructed in the footprint of an old warehouse, which is partly underground. The structural engineering services included an assessment of existing retaining walls, waterproofing details, together with full structural design and detailing of timber frame.

The timber frame was manufactured on site which fitted well with available labour and timescale for the project. In order to achieve this, detailed drawings were produced for all structural elements and connectivity.
